Keep Your Skin Safe with a Thermostatic Shower Valve

Purchasing a bath shower mixer tap with a thermostatic valve is a safe, convenient and economical way to improve your showering experience.

A thermostatic bath shower mixer tap contains a revolutionary thermostatic valve that is changing the way we shower and bathe.

The shower should be a place where you let all your worries drip away without having to worry about the water temperature fluctuating.

A thermostatic bath shower valve allows you to have complete control over your water temperature for the duration of your shower. Whether a toilet is flushed, a tap is turned on or a another device is used that uses water (dishwasher, washing machine), the temperature will remain the same.

Purchasing a bath shower mixer tap with a thermostatic valve is a safe, convenient and economical way to improve your showering experience.

SAFE - Having complete bath or shower temperature control with a thermostatic valve means that there is no risk of scalding for anyone using the shower. If the water temperature goes +/- 2 degrees over your desired and predetermined temperature, then the water flow will automatically shut off.

CONVENIENT- A thermostatically controlled valve means that if you're in the shower and you hear the phone ring and you want to answer it, or you’ve forgotten to turn the stove off, you don’t have to leave the shower running for it to be the same temperature when you come back. Switch it off to save water, and when you return and switch it back on, the temperature will be exactly the same as before.

ECONOMICAL - Using a thermostatic bath filler or bath shower mixer tap, is that with the amount of water and energy you will save, the thermostatic tap will pay for itself over a short period of time. Having a preselected temperature reduces the time and water you’ll waste trying to find the right temperature. Keep in mind those times when a toilet would flush and you’d have to awkwardly stand away from the freezing cold or boiling hot downpour, keeping a finger or toe under the water waiting for the temperature to revert back to your desired heat - you never have to waste that amount of water again.

How does a thermostatic bath shower mixer valve work?

There is an element within the mixing valve that expands and contracts in response to changes in the water temperature and pressure.

If there is an increase in hot water, the element within the mixing valve will increase in size allowing a side valve to open, which will then let some cold water through to compensate for the change in heat.

The same process will happen if the water temperatures are the other way around.

If for some reason the cold water fails altogether, the mixing valve will expand fully to block the hot water completely - preventing scalding.
