Minimum Water Pressure

Your water pressure depends on your home's water system. It’s important to consider water pressure when buying a new tap or shower. Buying a product with a minimum water pressure that’s too high for your home will result in poor performance.

- With a combi boiler you can usually expect between 1 and 2 bar

- With a gravity system (cold water tank in attic) you may have as little as 0.1 or 0.2 bar upstairs, and perhaps 0.5 bar downstairs

- With a high pressure unvented system (hot water cylinder, no cold water tank) you will generally have between 1 and 3 bar

You can install an item with a low minimum pressure rating on a high pressure system, but avoid installing an item with a high minimum rating on a low pressure system! Read our guide to water pressure to learn more.

Taps use either a ceramic disc cartridge or a rubber compression washer to control flow. Rubber washers will naturally wear down with use, and the tap handle will require more and more rotations to turn on or off. On the plus side, it's very easy to replace a rubber washer and they're available everywhere.

Ceramic disc cartridges need only a 90-degree rotation to fully open or close, and the 2 ceramic plates are incredibly hard-wearing and resilient. They're more expensive to make, but they allow for a huge range of designs, easy operation and simple maintenance if needed.

Whilst it is rare for a ceramic cartridge to need replacing, you may very occasionally need to remove and rinse the cartridge if grit or debris within the water system is preventing the 2 plates from closing properly. Much like replacing a rubber washer, this is a quick and easy job, and will ensure many years of use.

All of our brand partners and manufacturers offer a warranty as standard. Please note that these guarantees are provided by the manufacturer, and will be subject to individual terms and conditions, for example avoiding abrasive bleach-based cleaning products.

If you need further info about a specific manufacturer's guarantee, please contact our team.

Butler & Rose 1000 Gourmet 1.5 Bowl Ceramic Kitchen Sink & Wastes and Vellamo Savu Mono Pull Out Kitchen Mixer

Our sink and tap packs are a fantastic way for you to save time and money when you're looking to refresh the look of your kitchen. We've hand-picked some of our very favourite and best value kitchen sinks and taps, put them all in a single package, and then reduced the price some more so it's cheaper than buying the products individually.

Butler & Rose 1000 Gourmet 1.5 Bowl Ceramic Kitchen Sink with Reversible Drainer & 90mm Basket Strainer Wastes

There aren't many sinks as stylish and as versatile as the Butler & Rose 1000 Gourmet 1.5 bowl ceramic kitchen sink. Equally at home in a modern or traditional kitchen, the Butler & Rose 1000 is an exquisite piece of design and engineering from Butler & Rose - the world's largest manufacturer of ceramic goods.

Ceramic kitchen sinks have long been the favoured option of many, and it's for good reason. Ceramic is a naturally hard-wearing material that is also easy to clean. It doesn't stain or scratch easily, and is also impact resistant. Another benefit of ceramic kitchen sinks like the Butler & Rose Gourmet is that they are also heat resistant, so pots and pans can be taken straight from the hob or out of the oven and placed on the sink and you don't have to worry about heat damaging the sink.

The Butler & Rose 1000 has two generously sized bowls as well as a large drainer with strategically placed grooves to aid in the channelling of water back into the bowl. The second, smaller bowl is the perfect place to install an environmentally friendly waste disposal unit, although please be aware that you will need to buy an extended flange as well due to the extra thickness of the ceramic material. The Butler & Rose 1000 comes with a reversible drainer, allowing you to choose which side you would like it placed. The tap holes have been partially drilled in each potential position, and all your fitter will need to do is knock out the hole on your preferred side - something they should be very experienced in.

• Includes two 90mm basket strainer wastes with stemball plugs
• Reversible fitting (drainer can be on the left or right)
• Strong, non-porous ceramic material
• High gloss white finish
• Heat and stain resistant, and easy to clean
• 10 year guarantee

• Depth - 510mm
• Height - 240mm
• Width - 1010mm
• Minimum cabinet size - 600mm

Vellamo Savu Single Lever Mono Pull Out Kitchen Mixer

Having a 1.5 bowl kitchen sink already gives you the effect of having two sinks in one, and with a pull out kitchen tap, that effect is only amplified. The Vellamo Savu pull out kitchen tap is unlike most pull out kitchen taps in that on the face of it, it looks like an ordinary kitchen tap, but when required, the hose pulls out to enable you to direct the water anywhere you want it to go.

The Savu has a single lever handle to control the flow and temperature of the water. To make sure that this is a smooth operation and that there are no leaks, the Savu uses the latest ceramic disc technology which ensure a long-lasting and drip-free operation.

• Pull out aerator
• Push fit
• Chrome finish
• Swivel spout
• Ceramic disc technology
• Minimum 0.5 bar water pressure
Lifetime guarantee

• Overall height - 336mm
• Spout exit height - 303mm
• Projection - 219mm

Please note: All fire-clay ceramic sinks may have a +/- 5mm tolerance on the measurements due to the manufacturing process.

A message from Elliot Lees-Bell, Managing Director.

Firstly, our thoughts are with all those who are affected by COVID-19.

Our customer service and sales teams are now working from home and will be on-hand to answer any questions and help with your order. Our warehouse remains open and our team are practising high levels of hygiene and cleanliness to protect their own wellbeing and to safeguard our customers.

All deliveries are continuing as normal and we are in constant contact with our delivery partners to ensure that the safest practices are being followed. They'll sign on your behalf upon delivery, where possible sanitise hands prior to arrival and handling goods, and keep a sensible distance at all times.

The future is a little uncertain. There's likely to be some delays with delivery and stock arriving from our manufacturers, but we are still taking orders as usual. Products that are shown as ‘In Stock’ on our website are available to ship right away. At the moment, products with an estimated lead time (e.g. 3 - 7 days) will be fulfilled, but may take a little longer than usual.

As the next few days and weeks unfold we might have to take additional steps to protect both you and our staff - rest assured, we'll keep you updated along the way.

Thank you for your patience and support, and from all of us at Tap Warehouse we hope you stay safe and healthy.

How long will my delivery take?

Items in stock and ready for immediate dispatch display ‘In Stock’ and ‘Next Day Delivery Available’. Other items show the estimated delivery time, such as 1-2 or 2-4 working days. This information is given to you on each product page throughout the website, as well as in the basket prior to checkout, and in the checkout process itself.

You will be able to split up your order into multiple deliveries during the checkout if they have different lead times.

How much does delivery cost?

- Orders over £250 receive FREE standard delivery to mainland UK

- Orders under £250:

For orders under £250, the charge* is displayed on every product page just under the 'Add to Basket' button, and is dependent on the size of the item. You will only pay a single charge regardless of how many products you buy.

* Additional charges will usually apply to some areas of Northern Scotland and Scottish Isles, Channel Islands and Northern Ireland; and also to some areas of mainland UK for very large or fragile items that are sent by pallet.

Next day, weekend & time-specific deliveries

If an item is 'In Stock' and 'Next Day Delivery Available', you will also be able to choose a number of other delivery options during the checkout. Depending on the service, additional delivery charges may apply.

For our other items that show a delivery estimate, you will not be able to choose next day or timed services. We aim to deliver the item within the advertised timescale.

International delivery

We deliver small items (taps, shower fittings, accessories, small kitchen sinks, mirrors etc.) to most of Europe. You will be informed if any of the items in your basket are not able to be sent to your country during the checkout process.

If your country is not listed, or if you want to order a larger item, we may still be able to help. Please call us on 01202 55 66 55.

Large item orders

Please note, the driver will not be able to take the items in to your property, so we recommend that you have 2 able-bodied people to help take delivery if you have ordered large or heavy items. The driver will wait for you to check for any signs of damage. Please notify us of any transit damage either on the delivery note, or if there isn't time to check the items thoroughly upon delivery then within 48 hours of receipt. This does not affect your statutory rights with regards to manufacturing defects and faults.

Returns & Collections

For unwanted items we offer 90 days for a credit note, and 30 days for a refund. Please note that there are a few items we are unable to take back, including some special finish taps and showers, toilet seats that have been opened, and bespoke orders. See our full returns policy.

We now offer a collection service for unwanted items. This is particularly useful for fragile, bulky items that are difficult to transport. Unwanted items can be collected at a convenient time and place via our own transport partners, typically within a 1 or 2 hour window. This is a chargeable service - for full details, please see our returns policy.
